Independent game studio · Normandy, France
Soppybase is the indie studio of Yetired, in Normandy. Two games on the way: a rhythm roguelite where you pass job interviews by throwing caps, and a ricochet puzzle shooter starring a 1950s dad who turned into a revolver.
Rhythm roguelite deckbuilder
Soulbuster is hiring, and the job interview is a cap-throwing gauntlet. Hit the notes on the beat to charge your puck, slam the stack and chain the effects of every cap you flip. Twelve interviews, three Grosbills, one life.
Ricochet puzzle / anti-shooter
After an accident, Gunther, a 1950s family man, wakes up as a revolver. No arms, no legs, six bullets. Solve every room with ricochets without ever hitting a living being, and help Gunther reach his American Dream: a normal life.
The game is about rebuilding your life after a stroke, told in the most metaphorical and lighthearted way possible.
Soppybase is the indie studio of Yetired, a game developer based in Normandy. Our games start from an absurd idea taken very seriously. What if a job interview were a cap-throwing duel? What if a 1950s dad woke up as a revolver after an accident?
The American Dream of Gunther Aims started as a game jam entry in January 2025, was shown at Indie Game Lyon and will be shown at Stunfest 2026.
Souls Caps takes part in Steam Next Fest in October 2026.
